Wavepools are springing to life all over the world. Quick stock take at some prominent locations; London, Miami, Paris are all inline to get the wave pool treatment. Texas already has two, Barcelona, Sydney Melbourne, Perth, potentially Tokyo, Lemoore has the Slater ranch and now, the Netherlands is getting Europe’s first indoor wave pool, which looks completely different to anything that’s come before.

At the start of the month a company called 24/7 Waves and a developer BDP signed a letter of intent to lease the former Reparco hall on the Binckhorst in The Hague to house the indoor pool. It’s a space of around 2,400 square metres and the pool’s hoped to be operational by the end of this year. Read more (click here)
